Beacon Overview

A connected ecosystem of AI, automation, and monitoring tools -- free and paid products that work together through a single platform.

What a Connected Product Ecosystem Means vs Isolated Tools

Most businesses accumulate software the same way they accumulate kitchen drawers: one tool for this, another for that, none of them talking to each other, each with its own login and its own version of the truth. The result is a collection of disconnected capabilities that creates more overhead than it eliminates.

Beacon exists because we believe business tools should work the way businesses actually work, as a connected system rather than a pile of individual apps. Every product in the Beacon suite shares a single authentication layer, a unified entitlements system, and a common data platform that flows through the Client Dashboard. When you check something on Beacon Pulse on your phone during a meeting, the same data is waiting in Beacon Workbench when you sit down at your desk. When Beacon Bits catches an anomaly in a background process, the alert routes through the same notification system that handles your project updates. There is one account, one subscription, one place where everything connects.

This is not a theoretical architecture diagram. We built Beacon this way because we needed it ourselves. Running a software company means juggling monitoring, content operations, client communication, and development workflows across web, mobile, and desktop environments. We tried using separate tools for each concern and hit the same wall every business hits: context-switching between apps, data that does not match across systems, and invisible processes that nobody notices until they fail. Beacon is the solution we built for ourselves and now offer to others.

The connected architecture also means that each product in the suite is better because the others exist. Beacon Bits monitoring data enriches Workbench analysis. Lens research flows into the same context as Pulse notifications. Agents operate across the same data layer that powers everything else. Each tool solves a specific problem well on its own. Together, they create visibility and capability that isolated tools cannot match, because the connections between them carry as much value as the features within them.

What Is Available

Free Tools

These tools are available to all users at no base cost. Some features incur pay-as-you-go charges for API-powered operations.

  • WP Beacon Plugin: AI-driven growth automation brought directly to a WordPress site. Handles the manual audits, content analysis, and repetitive optimisation tasks that drain time without moving the needle. Free to install with PAYG for AI-powered features.
  • Beacon Lens: an assistant experience that works on any web page. Instead of switching to a separate tool for research and questions, Lens provides answers in context without breaking your browsing flow. Free browser extension with PAYG for AI operations.

Paid Products

Each paid product is available individually at 25 pounds per month, or get all of them through the All Products Pack at 50 pounds per month (or 500 pounds per year). Clients on an active retainer with Digital Royalty get the All Products Pack free.

  • Beacon Pulse: the fastest access to what you need to know. Designed for decisions that cannot wait until you are back at a desk. Available on iOS and Android.
  • Beacon Workbench: heavy workload features for work that demands serious depth. When a project needs focused, concentrated effort with full tooling, Workbench provides the space to tackle it properly. Available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Beacon Bits: monitoring for standalone processes that would otherwise be invisible. Scheduled tasks, background jobs, automated scripts. These are the things that run silently until they break. Bits catches problems before they become costly surprises. 25 pounds per month plus one-time setup fee per applet.
  • Beacon Agents: an autonomous workforce that plugs into existing processes. Frees teams from repetitive interactions so they can focus on high-value work that grows the business. Base subscription plus PAYG usage.
  • Beacon Crawler: systematic site analysis and data collection for content, SEO, and technical audits. Structured crawling that produces actionable data, not just raw page lists.

Loyalty Pricing

The All Products Pack includes loyalty discounts for long-term subscribers: 10 percent off in year two, 20 percent off in year three and beyond. Cancelling and resubscribing resets to year one pricing.

How Beacon Connects to the Wider Platform

Beacon products are one part of the Digital Royalty ecosystem. The Client Dashboard is the hub that ties everything together. If you are a Digital Royalty client, Beacon tools connect to the same account, data, and billing you already use. For a broader view of everything we have built, the Software section covers both the Dashboard and Beacon.

If you are interested in how we build AI features and automation into custom systems for clients, the AI Development and Business Automation service pages cover that. The technology behind Beacon is the same stack we use for every client engagement: Laravel, React, PostgreSQL, and the full set of integrations described in the Technologies section.

Where to Start

If you run a WordPress site, start with the WP Beacon Plugin, which is free and gives you immediate value without any commitment. If you want mobile access to your data and alerts, look at Beacon Pulse. If you need desktop tools for deep, focused work, Beacon Workbench is designed for that. If you have background processes running unmonitored, Beacon Bits fills a gap most businesses do not know they have until something fails silently.
