Mobile Alerting is for business owners, project managers, and operations leads who need to stay informed about critical events while away from their desk. It is essential for anyone responsible for site uptime, project delivery, or team operations who cannot afford to miss time-sensitive information.
How It Works
Alerts are triggered by events in the Beacon ecosystem — the same data that drives the Client Dashboard, but filtered for urgency and delivered to your phone.
Alert types include uptime failures (your site went down), project milestone completions, overdue task warnings, sprint boundary notifications, billing events (payment received, invoice overdue), and Bits process alerts (if you have a Bits subscription).
Each alert includes enough context to decide your next action without opening the full Dashboard. A site outage alert shows which site, when it started, and the last successful check. A milestone alert shows which project, which milestone, and what comes next.
Alerts are configurable by type and urgency. You can receive immediate push notifications for outages while receiving daily digests for less urgent events. This prevents alert fatigue while ensuring critical information gets through.
Quiet hours can be configured so non-critical alerts are held until a specified time. Critical alerts (like site outages) override quiet hours because they genuinely cannot wait.
From any alert, you can take action directly in Pulse — acknowledge the alert, view more detail, or navigate to the relevant section to respond. The goal is to minimise the time between notification and action.
