Site Copy Analysis

AI-powered content analysis across entire sites -- evaluate quality, consistency, tone, and gaps at scale from your desktop.

What Site Copy Analysis Does

Site Copy Analysis evaluates every page on a website for content quality, consistency, tone, and structural completeness — producing a comprehensive report that would take days to compile manually. Instead of reviewing pages one at a time, Workbench processes the entire site and delivers structured findings.

The result is not a list of generic recommendations. It is a page-by-page analysis with specific findings, scored against defined criteria, highlighting exactly where content is strong and where it needs work.

Who It Is For

Site Copy Analysis is for content strategists, marketing teams, and agencies who need to evaluate site content at scale. It is particularly useful during website redesigns (understanding what you have before deciding what to change), content audits (finding gaps and inconsistencies across hundreds of pages), and competitive analysis (evaluating competitor content systematically rather than impressionistically).

How It Works

You provide the site URL, and Workbench crawls the site to identify all content pages. The crawler respects robots.txt and rate limits to avoid impacting site performance.

Each page is then analysed by AI against a defined set of criteria: content quality, readability, meta description completeness, heading structure, internal linking, keyword coverage, and tone consistency. Each criterion produces a specific score and finding rather than a generic pass/fail.

Analysis runs as a background task with progress tracking. For large sites with hundreds of pages, the process can take some time — Workbench handles the queue management, API rate limiting, and error recovery automatically.

Results are presented in a structured report with both a site-level summary and page-level detail. The summary highlights patterns across the site (e.g., “42% of pages are missing meta descriptions”, “Tone shifts significantly between the blog and service pages”). Page-level detail lets you drill into specific findings.

Reports can be exported for sharing with stakeholders, imported into project management tools, or used directly as the basis for a content improvement plan.

For ongoing content management, analyses can be run periodically to track improvement over time and catch new issues as content is added.
