Every estimate is a living document in the Dashboard. When approved, it becomes the baseline for project scope, making the handoff from sales to delivery seamless.

Estimates is for Digital Royalty clients evaluating new projects or additions to existing engagements. It is used by decision-makers reviewing proposed scope and costs, project managers comparing estimates against delivery, and account managers structuring proposals that convert cleanly into project plans.
How It Works
Estimates are created with structured line items — each describing a deliverable, its estimated effort, and its cost. This is not a single lump-sum figure; every component of the proposed work is broken out so you know exactly what you are paying for.
Clients receive estimates in the Dashboard and can review each line item, ask questions through the built-in query system, and request adjustments before approving. The entire conversation happens in context — no separate email threads to track.
When an estimate is approved, it converts into a project with the agreed scope already populated. Tasks, milestones, and budgets carry forward so nothing is lost in translation between what was proposed and what is delivered.
For ongoing retainer clients, estimates can be used for ad-hoc work requests that fall outside the retainer scope — a structured way to agree on additional work before it begins.
Estimate history is retained, so you can compare original estimates against actuals once work is complete. This builds a data set that improves future estimation accuracy.
