Onboarding provides a structured path from first login to full productivity in the Client Dashboard. New clients and team members are guided through account setup, feature discovery, and initial configuration so they can start using the platform immediately rather than figuring it out on their own.
This is not a video tutorial library. It is an in-platform onboarding flow that adapts to your role and sets up the Dashboard with the right data, permissions, and preferences from the start.
Who It Is For
Onboarding is for new Digital Royalty clients setting up their Dashboard for the first time and new delegates being added to an existing account. It ensures that every person who interacts with the platform knows where things are and how to use them, regardless of their technical background.
How It Works
When a new client or delegate first logs in, the onboarding flow guides them through essential setup steps: profile creation, notification preferences, and an introduction to the features available based on their role and permissions.
For new clients, onboarding includes initial data population — connecting the account to active projects, setting up billing information, and configuring any integrations. This means the Dashboard is not empty on first login; it is already populated with relevant project data.
For delegates, onboarding is scoped to their permissions. A project-focused delegate sees project management features; a billing delegate is guided through the financial tools. No one is overwhelmed by features they will never use.
The onboarding flow is progressive — it does not try to cover everything at once. Core features are introduced first, with more advanced capabilities surfaced as the user becomes familiar with the platform.
Onboarding progress is tracked, so account administrators can see which team members have completed setup and who might need additional support.
