What Reporting Does
Reporting in the Client Dashboard gives you automated, real-time reports on project progress, time allocation, and system performance — without anyone manually compiling a spreadsheet or building a slide deck. The data is pulled from the systems that track your work, formatted into clear views, and available whenever you need it.
This replaces the end-of-month report that arrives late, the manually assembled data that is already stale by the time you read it, and the ad-hoc “can you send me the numbers?” requests that interrupt the team doing the work.
Who It Is For
Reporting is for clients who need visibility into what is being delivered, how time is being spent, and how systems are performing. That includes project leads tracking progress, finance teams reviewing time and cost allocation, and business owners who want a clear picture of what they are getting for their investment.
How It Works
Reports are generated from live data — project status, time logs, request history, and system metrics. You do not need to request a report or wait for someone to build one. The Dashboard pulls the data, applies the relevant filters, and presents it in a format you can review immediately or export.
Available report types include:
- Project progress — deliverables completed vs planned, milestone tracking, and status breakdowns across active projects
- Time allocation — how development time is being distributed across projects, features, and request types
- Request metrics — volume of requests submitted, average resolution time, and status distributions
- System performance — uptime, response times, and error rates for systems we build and maintain
Reports update in real time. When a deliverable is completed or a time entry is logged, the report reflects it immediately. This replaced our own internal practice of manually compiling monthly client reports — a process that used to take hours and now takes zero.
What Is Included
- Real-time data — reports pull from live systems, not manual snapshots
- Multiple report types — progress, time, requests, and performance
- Filtering and date ranges — view reports for specific projects, time periods, or metric categories
- Export capability — download reports for offline review or sharing with stakeholders
- No manual compilation — reports are generated automatically from operational data

How It Connects
Reporting aggregates data from project management, request management, and query management. It is the read-only layer that sits on top of your operational data — you take action in those modules, and reporting shows you the patterns and outcomes.
