This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Digital Royalty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain.
Our Business
Digital Royalty Ltd is a UK-based software development and automation company registered in England. We build custom business systems, API integrations, and AI-powered tools for clients across a range of industries. Our registered address is 63 Leominster Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO6 4BX, England.
Our team is UK-based and works primarily in software development, design, and project delivery. We do not operate manufacturing facilities, physical supply chains, or offshore labour arrangements.
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain consists primarily of:
- Cloud infrastructure providers — hosting, compute, and storage services from established providers (AWS, Cloudflare, and similar)
- Software and SaaS tools — development tools, project management platforms, and communication services
- Third-party API services — payment processing (Stripe), communications (Twilio), AI services (OpenAI), and similar providers
- Professional services — occasional use of specialist contractors for design, copywriting, or niche technical work
We do not source physical goods, raw materials, or products that carry a high risk of modern slavery. Our supply chain is predominantly digital services provided by established, regulated companies.
Our Policies
We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chain. We achieve this through:
- Employment practices — all team members are employed or contracted under fair terms that comply with UK employment law, including the National Minimum Wage, working time regulations, and right-to-work checks
- Contractor due diligence — when engaging contractors or freelancers, we verify their right to work and ensure they are compensated fairly for the work they perform
- Supplier selection — we prefer suppliers who are established, regulated businesses with their own modern slavery commitments. We do not engage suppliers where there are indicators of forced labour, debt bondage, or exploitation
- Reporting — any team member who suspects modern slavery in our business or supply chain is encouraged to report it without fear of retaliation
Risk Assessment
Given the nature of our business — a small, UK-based software company with a digital supply chain — we assess our risk of modern slavery as low. However, we remain vigilant and review our supply chain annually to ensure this assessment remains accurate.
The areas where risk could increase include:
- Engaging overseas contractors or development teams without adequate due diligence
- Using suppliers who subcontract labour in jurisdictions with weaker protections
We mitigate these risks by maintaining direct relationships with all team members and contractors, and by preferring established service providers with transparent operations.
Training and Awareness
All team members are made aware of this policy and the indicators of modern slavery. As a small team, we maintain direct oversight of our working relationships and supply chain decisions.
Review
This policy is reviewed annually and updated as our business grows or our supply chain changes. If we identify any concerns, we will take immediate action and update this statement accordingly.
