What Beacon Lens Does
Beacon Lens gives you an AI assistant experience while browsing the web, providing answers, research, and contextual analysis on any page without breaking your flow. Instead of switching tabs and copying text into a separate chat window, Lens brings the AI to where you already are.
The difference from a standalone AI chat is context. Lens can see the page you are on and factor it into its responses. Ask a question about the content you are reading, request an analysis of the page structure, or get a summary, all without re-explaining what you are looking at.
Who It Is For
Beacon Lens is for anyone who does research, content review, or analysis as part of their work and wants AI assistance without leaving the page. That includes marketing teams reviewing competitor content, analysts evaluating web pages, content writers researching topics, and business owners who want quick answers while browsing.
How It Works
Lens installs as a browser extension. When you open it on any page, it has access to the page content and can use that as context for your queries. You can:
- Ask questions about the current page: “What are the main arguments on this page?”, “Does this page target a specific keyword?”
- Request analysis: “Evaluate this page against SEO best practices”, “Summarise the key points”
- Get contextual answers: “How does this compare to our approach?”, “What is this page missing?”
- Research any topic and get answers in the Lens panel alongside the page you are reading, without switching tabs
Lens connects to the Beacon API for AI processing, using the same OpenAI-powered infrastructure that runs the Client Dashboard AI Tools. Your queries and the page context are sent to the API, processed, and the response is returned to the extension. Page content is used for the current query only. It is not stored.

How It Connects
Lens is part of the Beacon ecosystem and shares the same AI infrastructure as all other Beacon products. If you are a Digital Royalty client, Lens connects to your Dashboard account and entitlements.
